Richmond Parks & Rec Compost Drop Off Sites

The City of Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities (PCRF) has received a $90,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service to start a municipal composting pilot program. The initiative hopes that by providing options for composting at drop-off locations,  food waste will be diverted from landfills and recycled into compost used around the city.
